A week after the election I expected a better response in the stock market.  I continue to watch the Dow Jones plummet each day, and  I am thankful to almighty God I did not put my trust or hope in worldly possessions.  In this economic instability, we must remember who is in control of what happens in our lives, not to mention the universe.  Luke 12:7 “But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.”

My church had this list of “10 Things Still True Regardless of the Election Results.”  This was very encouraging to myself.

1.	The Bible will still have the answers.
2.	Prayer will still work.
3.	The Holy Spirit will still move in the hearts of people.
4.	God will still inhabit the praise of His people.
5.	There will still be anointed preaching.
6.	There will still be singing of praise to God.
7.	God will still pour out blessings on his people.
8.	Jesus will still love you.
9.	There will still be room at the cross.

10.	Jesus will still save the lost that come to Him.

To God be the Glory!!
